Obituary for Marianne Gittler

Marianne Gittler, of King City, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at The Lodge's at Ada's Vineyard in Paso Robles.

Marianne was born in Dunmore, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Monterey County since 1982. After marrying her long time love, Bill, in the early 1980's she became the Chief Financial Officer for King City Communications which operated KRKC AM/FM Radio. She was a member of the King City Republican Party, local book clubs, and Board Member and Treasurer of George Mee Memorial Hospital Foundation in King City. Marianne enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time in Monterey and San Francisco.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Bill Gittler of King City; sisters, Rosalie Bonetzky of Columbus, Ohio, Pauline "Polly" Ruane of Roaring Brook Township, Pennsylvania; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers.

A Celebration of Life will take place Monday, February 26, 2018 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Cork & Plough Restaurant, 200 Broadway st, King City, CA, Interment will follow at the family plot at Saint Michael's Cemetery in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.
